Vintage Handbags I'm Investing Into in 2022

A lot has changed in the last few years when it comes to vintage handbags - the demand has gone up, the prices gave gone up exponentially. Unfortunately a Hermes Kelly is now pretty out of my price range, yet with the come back of y2k aesthetic there are plenty of better priced less explored options out there.
Here's my current vintage wishlist.

Gucci Jackie
Shall we start with a classic? Surprisingly versatile, full of character, yet it has dated so well, the Gucci Jacket bag is possibly the ultimate neutral bag of the season. You do pay the premium on the name and the publicity of the bag, but there's plenty of it online, so there's a pretty good chance of finding a bargain.

Louis Vuitton Croissant
When Bella Hadid wears a bag you know it's going to become a cool girl staple. Add the durability of a classic Louis Vuitton canvas and leather combo and you know you've got a keeper for decades to come.

Loewe Amazona
This one is for the understated minimalist, Loewe bags are still relatively cheap (starting at just over $200) and actually super practical given the different sizes they come in. I'm loving the 44cm Loewe Amazon for that perfect chic suede oversized tote bag vibe.

Balenciaga City
Speaking of oversized bags, how could I forget the Balenciaga City Bag? Made an IT bag by Sienna Miller in the early 2000s, this bag is back as the perfect slouchy and oversized (read practical) alternative to the current season Balenciaga handbag range.

Gucci Abbey
Just like the Jackie bag, but smaller, edgier and more of a turn of the century baguette vibe, the Gucci Abbey mini is the bag for the cool girls who get it. Keep in mind that Gucci canvas will show wear and tear, so look carefully before buying.
I'm still deliberating on my next vintage purchase, so I would love to hear your favourites. Did they make the wishlist? Let me know via the comments below.
