By Invite Only: a Jewellery Brand With a Message

Did you know that the ocean produces at least 50% of the planet’s oxygen?

World Ocean Day which is celebrated on June 8th is the perfect opportunity to talk about the importance of ocean conservation and the impact we, as humans, have on the oceans.

The Salt and the Sea, a collection by By Invite Only, is a gorgeous collaboration between tangible beauty and the need for conversation - jewellery inspired by the ocean to facilitate conversation about the importance of conservation.

I love the simplicity of these pieces and the unique design. But what I love the most is talking about what we can do to help save the oceans - from bringing a reusable shopping bag (I try to), ditching single use plastics (who needs plastic straws anyway) and stopping eating seafood (I really miss it, but I’m also incredibly proud of this) - there’s a million ways you can help.

My pledge for this year is to switch to as much recycled plastic packaging as possible for my brand To Her. What is yours?
