A Jacquemus Kind of Sunset

Nothing beats matching your outfit to the sunset and nothing beats that feeling of the last afternoon of freedom, when you know you will be back in lockdown for the next 6 weeks.

For me, the last few months have been a lesson in learning to enjoy whatever I can in life whenever you can—like taking that afternoon drive to the beach (while wearing this gorgeous suit from Dazie the Label and the most gorgeous Jacquemus straw bag that I have big plants for for summer) instead of prioritiring work.

Now we are back in lockdown—lockdown number two. Luckily it is the middle of winter (and I do have a partner and two cats at home that I can annoy when I need social interaction), so I’m just treating it a boring long vacation from the outside world.

I’m trying to apply that same lesson of enjoying what I can when I can to life in lockdown. My free time so far—and we are a week in into the six week lockdown—has revolved around baking, working out and ordering new skincare products (definitely expect more skincare posts). I’m once again trtying to focus on the positives whilst knowing that 2020 is no ordinary year.
