Take me back to the careless pre pandemic days wondering the streets of Rome back in February. No city I’ve been to has been more fun to dress for than Rome - the warm end of winter sunny days, the backdrop of the pastel buildings and the general feast for the senses that the aura of this city is incredibly inspiring.

Here is what I wore on the 3 days we spent in the city - swipe through the galleries to see all of the looks.

Day One

This day started with an early morning trip to the Spanish Steps - my goal was to see some of the most famous attractions before the crowds (and I love watching a new city wake up). I wore the most gorgeous Sir the Label maxi dress for this trip.

Later on in the day I made an outfit change - a Topshop trench coat, DKNY crisp white shirt, Nobody ripped denim and a pair of Tony Bianco boots on my feet -a slightly more comfortable and warmer look for our trip to the Vatican Museum and St Peters Cathedral.

Day Two

This day started with me wearing OnceWas dress at the Trevi fountain. Obviously, as it was winter, I also wore a black turtleneck sweater and the Topshop trench to stay warm and cozy while walking the street of the city all day. Talking about walking - from the previous day I learned that boots are not a comfortable option on cobble stone, so I opted for my Veja sneakers instead + my vintage Louis Vuitton bag to fit all of the necessities for the day.

Day Three

On this day the Colosseum was our morning mission. The whole day I “only” wore I look - Camilla & Mark tee, All Saints blazer, the Fated denim, the Topshop trench coat and the Veja sneakers - all paired with the most perfect little black bag by Brie Leon (so perfect that it even just fits my second DSLR lense).

Needless to say that your suitcase does not close easily when you plan on wearing 2 looks per day on vacation. Oh well, this was my holiday and dressing up is my idea of fun (also, I‘m the only person who suffers dragging my own overpacked suitcase around).

Would you rather pack light and make the trip easy for your self or would you rather pack heavy and have options to dress up?

Xx
