I don't know about you guys, but personally I cannot believe that we are in May already. April was a busy month for me - with the launch of my label To Her, my 31st birthday and all of the little things in-between, it flew buy. But the month definitely didn't go uncaptured - I've been loving styling fashion for cool Melbourne autumnal days and capturing looks along the way.

Here's what I wore in April.

Lots of suits

Just warm and cozy enough, yet chic and super easy to wear, a classic tailored suit really is a staple when it comes to dressing for Melbourne autumn. Most of my suits are from To Here (you can check them out here) with a few pieces I already own thrown in-between. This season it's the classic colours for me - black, white and grey. A special mention goes to the back og

A considerable amount of colour

Who even is this colour wearing person? 9 times out of 10 I may be that simple monochromatic look wearing kind of person, but I will go all out when I wear colour . I love bright and contrasting colour combinations at the moment, but orange is by far my favourite colour of the season (I think the inspiration came from the By Far Baby Crush bag I got at the start of the month, haha).

Knits & knit sets

Under blazers and coats on those truly freezing Melbourne mornings and on their own when the sun decides to come out, knits really are perfect Melbourne winter investment pieces and I've been wearing mine non-stop. My current favourites are this beyond stunning Joslin set and basically any of this season's Country Road knits.

One beautiful birthday girl outfit by Marle

The shapes and textures of this top and skirt are so unique and beautiful! The moment I saw these pieces, I just knew that not only would I feel incredibly special wearing them, both of these pieces are so versatile that I will re-wear them over and over again. You can check out these beautiful pieces and more from Marle here.

& some chic sweats

Alexandra Australia create some of the chicest casual pieces out there and I'm absolutely in love this little super cozy white set that - I'm pretty sure I wore it every single weekend in April! You can check them out here

Now that we are moving into winter, I am looking forward to all of the coats and boots that we'll get to wear as Melbourne weather cools down.

What are some of your favourite cozy outfits?

As always, lots of love!

Lena
